I miss good English, written and spoken. I see at least three mis-spellings per day, sometimes more. I see statements like:- a) That was so first! b) Thise (or This) things are better c) Or someone starts a sentence with have, had 'have been told its not available'..'had checked on it' d) Worse still 'Ave been told.... e) I 'no' her.. Meaning i know her.. And the worst bit is that it is becoming increasingly common on official correspondence, even job applications! And i am not even talking about the L8r, nite, ttyl, pple, mayb... Oh, i miss good English!

English is an evolving language. You probably have no problem using such words as camouflage, nose dive, radar, roadblock, spearhead etc. They are proper or good english words, right? They are now, but they came into the english language after being incorporated from military slang.
