@ Querry Pole sana . I know how you are feeling, very embarassing. It is caused by fungi i.e when the fungi are more than the bacteria, this can be triggerred by Heat(Joto), Too much use of antibiotics, std(though passive in men), pregnancy (when acidity and alkalinity of the organ is interferred with.), diabetes, hygiene etc. Antifungals do the trick you can get them over the counter or get them prescribed by your Gyno. Though it's good to see a Gyno for him/her to establish the extent of the disease after which he/she can prescribe the best drug and dosage. I am no expert in this area but i have been a victim severally.

One of the major causes is the garment worn. if it doenst allow enough air circulation you get into problem. Some also get affected if they have stayed for a long time without bedminton and then engage in the same.... docs say the mixture of the body fluids may cause it too.

Treatment
some parts of our bodies are very sensitive. DO NOT go for over the counter. See a qualified gyna. They will prescribe to you what to use.

sperms are alkaline and when they distort the acidity in the vagina thus neutralising the normal bacteria candida- the yeast thrive....yes u need to see a qualified gyna

Avoid anti bacterial soaps. They kill the good and the bad bacteria. When the good bacteria is killed, you can get yeast or fungi infections.
Lord, thank you!

@ Intelli

I think it should be taken from both.

Just like Wendz has said lack of 'landing' can cause the infection, but like the swahili say, 'dawa ya moto ni moto' smile

Both works.....wash the area with plain natural yoghurt. You can also drink it.The bio one is much better.
