i had not invested on the share but i want in on the split and dividend.any suggestions on what time would be best to jump from now?

Like yesterday. If you buy at 69 yoyur average price after the split will be 55 bob.smile

Did not see this one coming. If BBK did this well, should we not anticipate even great reports from the "favourites" in the industry? Assuming investors see this as an indication of the expected reports from financials, should we not start seeing pple loading up on these other counters going forward? I am thinking DTB, KCB, Coop, Equity, NIC, HFCK .....

Some years back,a jinga broker at the then DSL bought me a chunk of BBK whereas my order was for ARM.....I should look for the idiot and by him a drink.

Actually... depends on the price ARM was at the time!

ARM was at its lowest 3/-... today 60x that!

It's not long ago....ARM was going for 106 while BBK was selling at 72.I remember going ballistic when the guy messed up the order.......ARM moved to the skies but if BBK split comes,i'll be mbele kama mfuko wa shati....ama?

Please help me with the maths above, how does a split lower your average purchase price.Or are you confusing it with a bonus?
