Why don't each one of us take the meaning that they feel suits them most and run with it as fast as possible if it can make an extra coin.

From the time the guy said the controversial words, he has already made more money than all wazuan's combined and the people who he was describing have also made good money. The children of both parties may not have an idea what was said and if they do, they possibly don't care.
This morning, they are probably together thinking about higher things like strategic decision for their companies and other things that excite them.

"My new Range rover sports from CMC have really disappointed me. I am considering ordering for a custom car. I am yet to find anything that suits me" One of the sons may be thinking. " I wish I could get one with features of a car and a jet"

People over reacting again! Does anyone remember Kimunya and fish market remark? This was overplayed and rammed down our thoughts as hate speech. Uhuru Kenyatta may have many sins, but on this one he is innocent. Especially the use of the word KIAO. I read it thus: Do they think Kibaki is their boy to play with?...the word boy in Gikuyu is kihii.
What a wicked man I am!The things I want to do,I don't do.The things I don't want to do I find myself doing

I find most of the so-called translators as ab initio or second language learners of gigikuyu. Kindly stop adulterating this beautiful language with ignorant and uninformed interpretations. 'Kihii' either stands for a son or a boy depending on the context. My father calls me his kihii (son); other people may refer to me as so and so's kihii (son or boy). An uncircumcised kihii is referred to as 'mubuu'. I did not watch NTV news that you people are referring to, but it is my humble prayer that media players should not be seen to be partisan in their reporting. I have said it before and I want to repeat it here, should Kenya be on fire no one will be spared. We should all avoid utterances and activities that could trigger further polarization and suspicion amongst our people.

This thread was more about NTV a leading media house misinterpreting something that was said by a leader. The problem is that what NTV said was more tribally inciting. I thought the media have learnt from 2008/8 chaos. They have a responsibility to protect our country from our political leaders.

Whereas the media should not be gagged.... they should be responsible enough to ensure people are not incited to burn down our country.

In this incident NTV went overboard by wrong translation just to show that Uhuru was insulting people of a certain tribe. This is wrong because once you incite whole tribe... this can only lead to another war.
