Laughing out loudlyLaughing out loudlyLaughing out loudly Before I retire to bed, I have to say that Jack Wilshere is more frightening than Cesc was at that age. Huyo kijana ni mnyama. So confident and great in possession. Didn't think that such a small physique could play such a deep roleHeko kwa Jack. If Barcelona weren't broke, they'd probably try to sign him too. Wenger kweli has an eye for finding gems. One more thing, Rosicky should never ever play for Arsenal. Never Ever. IN WENGER WE TRUST!

This kid is without doubt the future of English football, it hard to believe he's just 19 yrs old.

The only problem with Jack Wilshere is that he plays for the wrong team...

I wonder where the Manutd scouts were...Wenger won't develop this kid to a cult hero...

Ati Man Utd scouts what are you talking about, Wenger has been developing superstars almost every season.....Over the years we've become Barcelona's feeding club. This kid is already a superstar at 19. Wilshere will not go anywhere, he's a product of the Arsenal football Academy who adores the great professor. Capello can't seem to have enough of this young man.

This is a case of being between a rock and a hard place.

The rock, our bitter rivals doing us and everybody else a favor by beating what Mr. Bean termed as the Super favourites for CL...the hard place, us never hearing the end of it. I could live with the hard place, if gooners didn't go on to win it.

To me, the man of the match was Szceszny (or whatever that name is). That game would have been very different had Messi converted those two chances that the goalie did very well to spread himself large and narrow the angles. Frankly speaking I don't think Wenger should ever play Fabiansky and Almunia ever again, unless Woz gets injured.

The other revelation was Jack Wilshere, brimming with confidence for his age.

Overall the game was as expected, large periods of the Barca game but gooners holding up well. IMHO, Barca did the same thing they did last year, scored and eased up the gas in the 2nd half, perhaps expecting to score again easily if Arsenal equalized. Pep removing Villa for Keita showed some element of underestimating gooners ability.
A slender lead to the Nou is better than a draw but Arsenal will have to be at their best, knowing that if they score one, Barca need 3 to win, if they score 2, Barca need 4 to win and so on...Barca is capable when they turn it on as they did at El Classico but gooners in a good position.
BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

@McDoba, it seems una uchungu sana. Relax, it's 'just' a game. Foko Jembe.

@reddevil. Meza mate. Everybody knows the Prof is the only one known for developing young talent. Smalling made a mistake going to Manugus. Dont forget, we have Aaron Ramsey... and Chamberlain is coming. He's been advised that Manugus will not develop him as well as the Arsenal. Meza Wembe bila maji.

But kweli Barca easing off the gas was the turning point for us. When in possession, Barca are just unplayable. The Prof needs to prep the boys for the second leg. It will be tight.
