This is a case of being between a rock and a hard place.
The rock, our bitter rivals doing us and everybody else a favor by beating what Mr. Bean termed as the Super favourites for CL...the hard place, us never hearing the end of it. I could live with the hard place, if gooners didn't go on to win it.
To me, the man of the match was Szceszny (or whatever that name is). That game would have been very different had Messi converted those two chances that the goalie did very well to spread himself large and narrow the angles. Frankly speaking I don't think Wenger should ever play Fabiansky and Almunia ever again, unless Woz gets injured.
The other revelation was Jack Wilshere, brimming with confidence for his age.
Overall the game was as expected, large periods of the Barca game but gooners holding up well. IMHO, Barca did the same thing they did last year, scored and eased up the gas in the 2nd half, perhaps expecting to score again easily if Arsenal equalized. Pep removing Villa for Keita showed some element of underestimating gooners ability.
A slender lead to the Nou is better than a draw but Arsenal will have to be at their best, knowing that if they score one, Barca need 3 to win, if they score 2, Barca need 4 to win and so on...Barca is capable when they turn it on as they did at El Classico but gooners in a good position.
BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!
