Obviously Marende will ask for time to go through the reports, and probably make a judgement by friday.

MPs disown report on Kibaki nominee
Five members of a House Committee have disowned a report that recommended the process of nominating the Controller of Budget be started afresh.

The MPs who sit on the Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade, said they were not given an opportunity to "confirm the final report" that was tabled in Parliament on Tuesday.

The committee vice chairman, Prof Philip Kaloki (Kibwezi, ODM-K)

led his colleagues Nelson Gaichuhie (Subukia, PNU), Lucas Chepkitony (Keiyo North, ODM), Sammy Mwaita (Baringo Central, ODM) and Lenny Kivuti (Siakago, Safina) in saying that it was not the duty of the committee to deal with the constitutionality of the nomination

I thought this is information that was all over news? how come they are the only ones who didnt knwo what the committee deliberated? and they were supposed to be members? what was their role in this committee or where were they during the deliberations?

Sometimes i wonder if these guys have children......... Its very unfortunate when you start having difficulties trusting what your father believes(or what he said he believed) in because he has to please another man....!

Speaker rejects nomination process. Speaker says nominations were unconstitutional. He says JSC have to be involved.
