What does RMS mean?

BTW, are the ERC's numbers independently verified? If yes, by whom?
If no, what happens if they make an error?

@VituVingiSana

PMS: Premium Motor Spirit
AGO: Automotive Gas Oil
DP: Dual Purpose Kerosene
RMS: Premium Motor Spirit

Brother I think your questions are just frivolous.Yaani you expect the prices to be issued without verification?

For the record, that formula is so thoroughly that they can tell that the guy who prepares it used three instead of four decimal places at the initial computation.

For the record, we check that formula so thoroughly that we can tell that the guy who prepares it uses three instead of four decimal places at the initial computation.

So this premium motor spirit has dual values,as under PMS and RMS ,i am very afraid if at all you are involved in checking the formula.
And it would be more useful to wazuans if you indicated the prices as we know them at the pumps,super,diesel etc.The technical terms do not impress anyone.

Sorry for the confusion but I have to state that there is nothing technical about the terms neither did I want to impress.

PMS=Super
RMS= Regular
AGO= Diesel
DPK= Mafuta taa

This regulation is crap, how do u sell Kerosene at Kshs. 79.5 to 'mwananchi wa kawaida'. I bet the open market system was good by far. Even if the price of petrol was high in some places u good always buy it at affordable rates in some local stations, but now......

That's what you get for putting power in their hands. They introduce an idea, make it look rosy to Kenyans, we support it. They give one or two good directives, just to show us that they are on our side...then they start to misuse their powers. Welcome to 254 everyone.

@Tommy; no one. In yr2002 price of Kerosene was 16/=? Now it is 5*. That is the price we pay for being more democratic space.
