The Wazua metamorphosis! I remember a time in SK when it was almost a sin not to talk about investments and shares. Then came Wazua and the topics became diverse. We started getting topics like "Phombe","Kukalia Chapati" to some "Users" getting disciplined.

Its now moving to a social site where some dudes & dudettes might even start dating.Wow!

I wonder if the likes of Mashada also went through such a cycle.

Interesting walk down memory lane @bird_man. Though I must say surprisingly, my recollection was the SK was much much naughtier - I haven't seen a 'chapati' issue except in the archives.

Just tried out the chat - may work for letting the hair down.
@wazua, why do you only say this Fri? (oops, let me ask you on chat)

@ Muganda,
I totally agree Wazua is more mature with a diverse range of topics compare to SK. The chat is interesting but has he potential of taking over the site, reducing focus and reducing well thought out post(you can't put a lot of info on the limited chat line) and info in chat is not stored for referencing later on unlike post.
I think it's a good idea to have a chat for friday phombe and socials, more like a dress down friday!
Good work wazua!

How it can be improved:

1. is it possible to see who is online?

2. given that this is a small site for all, is it possible to click to some few who say are willing to discuss on the same topic and have a different board?

3. if you get several people who want to chat at the same time, it will be unmanageable... you post and in a second before you read the response, a million other posts of unrelated topic are posted making it difficult to keep trail.

my 2 peremendes...

Well done Wazua this is a plus. other than what Tony Stark has pointed out abt the future referencing part(which is the essence of chatting anyway)everything else is fine. It will help us get one on one and users who like getting onto each other handle their domes silently.

@Wazua what about a PM functionality? In my opinion it would be more of a priority than the chat thing.
