Dear Members,

We have noted a trend of alarmist titling of posts; perhaps in an attempt to spur discussion. This thread was previously titled 'Olympia De-Listed'

Apart from it being irresponsible, we need to realise our community has grown in numbers and often such titles appear cheap and deceitful.

Note also Google frequently crawls our site and search results such as 'Michael Joseph new CEO for Airtel' or 'Safaricom profit warning' lower the reputation of the Wazua brand.

@gesowan; We need to know the conditions that are satisfied for a co. to be delisted or to delist.

Very true wazua. People need to be more specific with their questions to avoid raising alarm.

So big brother’s opinion matters.

Sometimes there is a thin line between censorship and editing. I have nothing against anyone correcting or controlling misinformation provided that the line between censorship and editing does not become blurred. especially tricky where the content is user generated. Saw a gripe on a thread – cant remember which - where an alarmed Wazuan was wondering aloud where their post(s) disappeared to.
Perhaps we should be directed to the rules on posting.

Do you believe Wazua is wrong on this instance?

In this case? Short answer: No.

This was more a concern about whether I (the poster) have guidelines regarding what I can and cant say here (aside from common sense). How polite should I be or how crass can I get before becoming a user , how accurate should my information be, should I post on the understanding that someone may believe what I say and use that info...and so on.
AND whether the editor knows when not to cross the editing line. I imagine its frustrating to have a post ‘disappeared’ by someone. And you did hear the one about the camel’s tent – the one where the camel asked a man if he could stick his nose in the tent, and then his head, and then his neck and then his whole self tail and all. If the rules arent clear, you just keep going down some slippery slope.
