Liverpool will come out fighting. they will throw everything into this game. Benitez has his back on the wall,he will either win the game and save his job or will be shown the door.

I am not a fan of Man U or Liverpool,but what I know is Liverpool usually play well against Man U. Even if their recent form is bad,they lift their game against big sides. But playing well is one thing and getting results is another. When Gerrard and Torres play the team stil misses one player ALONSO and Benitez denies this fact. He says Aquilani is better than Alonso.......stuborn Benitez.

crisis crisis! Whilst the fact that liverpool has lost 4 games in a row in all competitions is comparable to their second worst run in their history has been headline news,it also worth pointing out that they went on to win the league that same year when they had that run.

Should they win on Sunday then the league is far from a foregone conclusion given that the other Top teams will drop points. Man City will fizzle out as the season goes on even if they can get as many games in hand as they can afford.

Failing to get a fit replacement for alonso and having a new fullback that has spent more time in the opponents half aready than the entire season of what arbeloa may have changed the balance. Needless to say Arbeloa was quite solid defensivewise

True Liverpool may be over reliant on 2 players but any Any team without their top players will struggle. Get Lamps & Drogba out of the the equation and chelsea will struggle 4 goals,Get Fabregas out n arsenal are pedestrian,Man U struggles when shrek (rooney) & giggs r out.

Liverpool will nick this one due to it being a derby and their backs pressed to the wall even if the entire man u team gets onto the pitch with ballons

3-2 final score to Liverpool

@ Ispoa,Good analysis but for the derby part. A derby is a game between two local teams. Eg; A London team against another London team or A Manchester city team against another Manchester city team. Liverpool and Man U don't come from same city and their names say it loud enough. Final score; Liverpool 2:Man U 0
