I daresay I expect 22 to be the resistance level. At any rate that's what I hope having bought a huge chunk today at that price. I also added to my holdings in Equity Bank at 27.50. Tomorrow, I will buy more if I can get them below the 27.50 mark. Then, I will wait!

KCB has indeed resisted going below (or even back to) 22 today. As for Equity Bank, I should just have filled my entire order at 27.50, seeing that it has not gone down below yesterday's level of 27.50. Nonetheless, I got a decent lot @27.50, so I can't complain. I will now angle for some CoopBank @ 20 - 20.25, although the counter has been rather stuck at that level, for a while now.

There is a danger of buying too much kk, because its a penny stock. Whenever i have some tu coins i find myself topping up my kk holding. Oh yeah and its stayed below ten bob, hence im even more likely to buy it. Its still cheap, some of my other potential add ons have gone up.

Only reason it is considered a 'penny stock' is coz of the split otherwise it would be much higher [at 10% of the shares outstanding]...

IMHO... all said & done... It will do very well for me! If I had the cash... I would buy the entire firm out!

KK will not produce spectacular profits in the coming years/NOCK is really eating into their market share.Cas in point at Murang'a Rd whereby the Kobil petrolstation is normally empty while Oil Libya and NOCk are full with vehicles queueing to buy fuel.

Well, let's wait & see... pity NOCK & OilLibya doesn't publish their results!
BTW, NOCK is favored by GoK e.g. 30% OTS imports even though they are PRICIER. See the last diesel load they imported under OTS... the corrupt [someone got a cut] bastards came in more expensive than the other importers!
Don't forget that NOCK is subsidized by GoK to benefit a few. They get cheap/free capital from GoK aka our taxes...

Before the dispute with Energy Regulatory Commission;KK Kobil used to pay the least charges to Kenya Petroleum Refineries and at the pump they were one of the most expensive if not the most expensive fuel dealers.
That is why in theri dispute non of the oil marketers was supporting them

KPLC @23 or KCB @22? Which has more value?

Why would KPLC not gain your vote?
