After a good thrashing by Zamalek on Kenyan soil, Ulinzi have turned down the Egyptians requested to have the return match played here.

Now, is it me or....

BBI will solve it

And who wants to be humiliated twice on home soil? And Ulinzi are not under any obligation to honour the request

No No No they are not.Infact they are on top of it.Loosing the return leg is one thing they are sure of be it here or in Egypt.what matters is having the joyride of playing in a foreign land for those whove not been there before.
Given the options I and I bealive you too would do the same.If anything whats the advantage of playing home with those empty stadiums as it was during their home match? is it the weather? Get my drift!

I think they are idiots!! Zamalek have nothing to loose and they have everything to gain. They should have used the oppourtunity to train with the pharaohs at least to up their game for the local league; but then again there is a travel budget to be exhausted. This is Kenya sic! nothing objective

Spot on! there is the small matter of the travel budget, why let good money go to waste. Surely, the management could have agreed and used the money more wisely, besides, I don't think Egypt will be ready in 2 weeks to host the game.

The Gor friendly vs Ghana had 10 times more people than the Ulinzi match.

Do Ulinzi get their funding from the Military aka Taxpayer?

they'd rather lose there and say that they were away rather than be thrashed 0-7 here at home. and BTW, the stadium was empty on that day. kwani where are their fans..still celebrating?
