@marktwo Have you discussed the needs of the organization where you are sending the sales proposal? If not, you need something to introduce your company, products or services. Are you in service or selling goods?

Quickly: 1] Summary - what you propose to sell, how much, how it helps buyer 2] Intro - Why buyer needs service...what's in it for them? 3] Service Description - exactly how will you do it? How many people will you use? How qualified are they? How many hows will they work? etc Why should they give it to you and not anyone else? 4] Costing - how are you charging: hourly? piece-work? and how much? What is the total? Any initial retainer? 5] You company info - type [ltd, partnership or what]? size? how old? where else have you done similar work? 6] Appendices - certificates of registration and taxation; CVs of key personnel; etc

You're welcome NB: it doesn't have to be 100 pages long....you can actually do it in two - one for sections [1] to [5] and the other for appendices

the company profile takes the whole entity into perspective, so you can say its a document selling the company as a whole. On the other hand a sales proposal can be used to market or sell one of the many products or services that your company offers. When you look at it from one perspective, there is no difference but when you look at it from another, there is a difference.
