advice needed on info about td 27 and qd 32

would like to know btw td27 and qd32 which one is long lasting no major maintenance issues availability of spares and can handle ruggedness

You need to note that these are engines and not vehicles.TD27 is an older model of nissan caravan engine as compared to qd32.The TD27 was recommended to carry 1000kg while qd32 is recommended to carry 1200kgs.
The design is a bit different especially the front and the back.Today both models are not allowed into Kenya as they are all older than 8yrs.

Spares for both are available. however Qd32 are expensive. qd 32 engine is more powerful and has high resistance to heat. the engine block is hard to repair once it is worn out.

@ githuku and tmatekwa thanks 4 the info my friend wants to get a 14 seater and the offers he is getting are somehow mixed up even to the xtend of getting a 3L or a 5L which appear durable and pricy hop he makes a good descision

A 3L and 5L i believe are toyotas.If he is engaging in matatu business,tell him to do his homework well.There are many hidden issues than the engine, can be seen from the outside.We have been there,experienced and left.please advise him to research well on the all aspects.

got a qd 32 served well then i decided to overhaul it it became worse any wazuan who knows a mechanic who can fix it ?
