My current positions are only in industrial and financial sectors with greater weight on industrials.

Industrials
KPLC
Kengen
EABL
ARM
KK

Financials
KCB
Equity
Barclays
Stanchart

Looking forward, I contemplate to take positions in the Commercial sector, and the contention is between NMG or Scangroup.

In the financial sector, I intend to reduce some holding in KCB to bring in JUB, that is when KCB crosses the proverbial 30 bob bar.The idea is to also have a stake in the insurance sub sector.


With this I will end up with 11 counters for the long term in Nairobi bourse as a foreign non resident investor.
The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .

@young. Nice spread. But 11 counters, isn't that too much. Its challenging to follow so many companies adequately. Better to have many eggs in fewer baskets.

KCB, SCAN, KENGEN. Kplc a bit later. @ Young 11 companies are just too many in my opinion unless there are in different stock exchanges. Why do u have BBK anyway? Sell that rather than KCB brother.

Although you are entitled to your opinion(s) the main purpose of this post is for interested members to disclose which stocks they are investing on the long term.

This will go a long way in helping other people who hold similar investment objective to compare notes and invariably help them to make informed decisions.

KK,ARM,HFCK, Stanchart & KCB. I wish stocks had a measurable duration like bonds. decision making would be so much easier

In stocks is there anything which is long term?.I feel regular evaluation is needed to see how the stocks are performing as expected.
