i have been doing alot of research about trend trading (trend following) and i think there is huge profits to be made using this method. When cnbc analysts and morningstar.com were advising investors to buy cheap stocks in the middle of the crash last year,trend followers were making all the money because they were short on stocks because that was where the trend was. Again if you are trading forex market,look at weekly chart of any major pair currency eg jpy/gbp or eur/usd and you will see very good trends in all years.
