I think for most of us, the much we have interacted with our 'mentors' is when we read about them in 'expose' or interviews in other media. Then catch up on their memoirs then we say, "I want to do what he says he did....." Then think they are our mentors.
Why is no one, apart from those joking, not mentioning their parents as mentors? ABK.
