Here's is the deal

Broker/Agent finds a Buyer to purchase car (or other vehicle) on order.
Broker request pictures with vehicle specifications,from Seller to show Buyer and provides Total cost CIF + other (incl. estimated duty/clearing/registration)

Buyer confirms interest then pays 75% deposit directly to Seller
Awaits car for 4 -6 weeks clears balance (25%) on receiving car.

How much would the Broker expect to make?
20k ? 30k? or 50k ? to be paid by Seller on completion.

Asante McRegg... Is 10k standard ama it varies from broker to broker?

I would like to find Brokers/car dealer (or anyone willing to act as one) who can find buyers for cars at lower than market value,and I will put them intouch with my contacts in Nairobi.

email me....

@sasha- where are your customers.

@SK - thanks.

In my experience it varies,for us,most take 2.5% of value sold and for other brokers the seller/importer gives a reduced value and anything the broker sells above that 'value' is the brokers fee.

I have just started penetrating this business of vehicle imports and do direct marketing for myself,mainly low mileage and clean from Japan. I try to give lower prices than market to maximise turnover. Honesty is our mantra. You can contact me on smurimi (at) gslkenya (.) com.

@Ali B . Unfortunately... I have not yet ventured into getting cars from 'directly from Japan' but you may be able to get help from someone here called 'Fair_Car_Dealer'

I would get you Japanese cars 'directly' from UK.

I am not even sure how the a 5 year old Nissan Sunny looks... Is it a B14,15...? Look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Sentra

Someone enlighten me.

@50%_empty ..I'm sure someone will take on your offer.

@ AliBaba

A 2004 Nissan Sunny B15 will cost you about Ksh. 565k. Here is a sample:

2004 Nissan Sunny
http://www.tradecarview....ar/nissan/sunny/581122/

Regarding the Nissan model that has the back that look like a Maxima's,can you let us know what model that is so that we can check on the 2004 prices for you?

Thx,
