If you do not want to be a real estate historian , full of regrets in future take position in time on titled property for investment or your future accomodation, because unfortunately, opportunity lost cannot be regained, as price are strictly time dependent . The earlier you decide and act, the cheaper it is. The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .

But getting that 12,000 in 1937 when salaries for skilled workers were around 100 shillings was a tough thing to do. When you consider the effects of inflation, the real price of property has increased but not by the astronomical percentage you get when comparing nominal figures as is usually the case. Before you can be be old and wise, you must first be young and stupid.

The post is addressed to you and me not our ancestors. History here refers to your immediate past :- 3 years ago, 5 years ago, 10 years ago etc. It is all our about you and me, our individual or collective decisions relative to real estate investment. The fact remains real estate investment in this part of the world (black africa) is time dependent, the earlier you position the better. Otherwise you will be telling stories (become historian) of missed opportunities in future. Hakuna Matata ! I have my own personal story to tell about missed opportunities but made a drastic change a couple of years back. The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .

In essence man cannot live on stocks a lot, he/she has to balance it with other asset classes. It is like making hay while the sun shines.
