VDS could easily have rushed to the dressing room, during play, to get a heater, place it infront of the goal mouth, get a seat and warm himself out of the manchester winter. yesterday man-u played in the first half with losts of pace, accuracy that kept on spliting the sunderland defence at will. Had it not been for the Keeper and the post, the score could have looked like a tennis one.

Having said that, sunderland were poor, never even troubling the van der sar. at one point it was 10 goal attempts man-u to 1 goal attempt sunderland with man-u possession in the 70%.

Tactically, I dont see why Bruce was playing with two strikers upfront. Most of the time they had no supply. He needed more men in the midfield to disrupt man-u.

As things look now, we must start reconciling ourselves that barring some 'black swan' event, the title is going to old trafford.

True Man were the better team for the day.But how do you explain such a weak performance? Doesn't mean that Bruce had no DM to disrupt the impressive Anderson but credit to Man U for they had the right formation defensively and Michael Carrick looked underemployed for the better part.

At least SAF himself admitted that its a three horse race, reason being that they are yet to be beaten makes them favorites at least for now.

As for todays game the referee happens to be Mark Clattenburg he who allowed Nani to score against Tottenham after a clear handball and again disallowing Pedro Mendes goal in 2005 at old trafford against Spurs. An Arsenal victory to shut up the loud-mouthed critics for a while. There's been too much rubbish about Arsenal here of late. That Walcott's a useless 100m athlete, that they pass and pass with no end result, that they are weaklings against strong defences, blah blah blah...! They played solidly well today and they deserved every inch of the victory.

Typical Arsenal hater....before this match most of you were praying for a draw or Arsenal to lose. Frankly speaking I'm rather disappointed because i feel we should have scored more goals than we did. As it stands now, we have won more matches than any other team in the EPL. The reason why both Arsenal and Chelsea are still in the title hunt is because of the Man Utd draws..... we can afford to lose several matches as long as Man Utd keep dropping unnecessary points. What really excites me is that we have now played both matches (picked points)against Chelsea before the January transfer window.

Hoodrat....no single team in the EPL this season has proven to be consistent. Last night Arsenal outplayed Chelsea and got the results but that was just another three points to keep up with Man Utd. All the top teams have been dropping points against the "small teams" and i think these are the games which will determine who walks away with the title starting tonight with Man Utd visit to Birmingham.
