Anyone who said they bought the rights at 1.50-0.5 is telling a blatant lie which is sad

If it were possible for anyone in the public to get the rights at that price then why is the share trading at 23....

The arbitrage between the share price and the rights shows the rights traded at that price were not available to you and me but to selected institutions...

@Tommy and Guru and Vituvingi and yes ALL!

Check the rights!

They are now trading at 0.5 ONLY!

KEEP WATCHING AND KEEP LEARNING!

@YBC your back again conveniently when the price has fallen...

You will shout SELL SELL SELL all the way to 2030...

Then I'll probably sell to you but at no less than 250 bob

Looks the government offloaded most of the rights today. Guys who got at 0.5 kes are lucky. When the shares come to the market they will comfortably sell at 24 bob and still smile.that is over 16% profit.

Ok let me rephrase.

I don't think if the public could get their hands on G.O.K rights at 0.5 premium the share would be still trading at 23 which is a 3.5 premium...

Plus the high for the rights on the day was 2.85 and the low 0.5....

This means the public who were buying rights from other shareholders were buying at 2.85 and G.O.K rights sold to selected institutions at 0.5 not to the public...

The 0.5 deals were already pre planned and executed...

@guru. What difference is there between pre-planned sale of gok rights at throw away prices and those who pre-planned PEV? There is also this cheap argument that gok can do or is free to sell her rts to whomever! Why should they deny us the right to buy rts publicly so that the 'undertakers' can have them later? We need PLO to investigate.

I was at dyer and blair yesterday at 3.00pm and people were buying the rights at 20.50 I.e 1 bob they closed the sale at 4.30 without telling those in the queue about the deadline(4.30) by the time I was to be served it was 5 pm we were told selling of rights was over we could only buy the shares at 22.50 we protested but they said they had announced about the deadline, but all we could see was the 6.30pm deadline ....I think we were played.

Selah why did you wait until the very last minute? I got my rights at 1.50 bob in the morning. Granted I would might have got them at 0.5 in the afternoon but this would not have been guaranteed. I am ok with the 1.5

The point I am trying to drive is there was some sinister plan.why would one dump such huge volumes of rights In the last minute and then lock out retail bargain hunters like us.

I think Institutional investors bought the rights at a very low price making the retail investors miss the bargain.
