Of course something big had to happen to blow ocampo off the headlines!

'An outlawed sect spokesman has been shot dead in downtown Nairobi

Mr Njuguna Gitau of Mungiki's political wing was killed after he was confronted by three unknown assailants in Nairobi's Luthuli Avenue.

Police removed his body to the Kamukunji Police Station'

My thinking is,ocampo has nothing to do with it,its just the timing. This is just a power game between Maina Njenga and this Njuguna. i guess this was a strategy to eliminate one for the other to remain as the only defacto Mungiki leader. Being saved was just to cover -up for a while. off-late i have lost morale to go to any church.....church is full of hypocrisy....look at wanjiru-mungiki church.

R.I.P Njuguna, this is a clear sign kwekwe still exits.

Watch the mungiki explode... then Kenyans will be told see what happens when the police do nothing... Kenyans wud rather have brutal police than mungiki... and Ocampo is told 'see y police had to kill'... Kenyans are OK with police murders...

I hope he repented to secure a place in heaven.
Chief defender of our tormentors.

It's time Mungikis learnt evil never pays and harvesting where you've not planted is not the way to live.

We will keep praying for the total disintergration of all gangs in kenya. This is just the beginning of answered prayers. Kenya does not belong to a few rich thugs and their brainwashed followes-anake.

Kenya belongs to God not to the spirit of oppression and extortion.

Shindwe Mungiki. Shindwe!
Ocampo is just a theory. The truth is Njunguna was a Mungiki,a leader of a group that torments Kenyans. Period. About this death - liv eby the sword die by it.

Shindwe pepo la kukata ma-shingo!!!

MJ was indeed right on kenyans and their peculiar habbits. First it was VW Passats,Then Wako,Blackout,Ocampo,Now Mungiki!. All this in one week, and taking a substantial media coverage. Leaders truly enjoy themselves knowing too well that the rate of forgetting is too high.

@ axe

i don't think it is the works of kwekwe...

nevertheless,i don't rule them out....

like @ djinn suggested in another post...

it is diversion of minds of kenyans from the main issues...

Probably this was meant to send to send a very clear and loud message to maina njenga to either disband or else....

Surprisingly, since the kwekwe thing started, and every time I saw this guy giving quite articulate press briefings,I somehow new that this guy was on borrowed time...he was a walking-dead....

This is purely an internal mungiki issue and the gava including the police is watching on the sidelines ready to finish the remainders after they slay each other.Remember maina njenga was released the moment he threatened to name the sponsors, obviously the govt feared and opted to release him to his own murderers rather than doing the work themselves.I believe more is yet to come and obviously dont forget Pastor waruinge is in the picture too.
