RIP Grandapa. We'll surely miss you. I have seen many students nowadays - even at university level and most of them can't even come close to mzee Maruge when it comes to detremination and deciding what they want in life. Really good example from mzee Maruge. Guys thought it was a stunt when he went to school but the man soldiered on - despite all the odds against him. Now that's a great man! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Lala salama Mzee. Yu were such a Beacon of determination I was born intelligent,education ruined me. Age is transforming me into an Elder;becoz Admin hasn't made me one.

He was a testimony of our failed education system. I couldn't understand why our politicians feted him while his life proclaimed a failed Adult Education System. His determination however was something to be emulated.

RIP Mzee.You were a true embodiment of a 'yes we can' society. Because of you we'll try a little harder,walk a little farther,bear a little more,expect a little less and even laugh at ourselves while at it. And in all these we'll be a whole lot better for it. but,'sons' have resurfaced with all sorts of offers to send home their papa. one simon kimani,third born of kimani maruge has offered a piece of land on his farm where his papa will be interred on monday in kabazi,nakuru.
they are however appealing for funds to meet funeral expenses.
all this time where have they been?
