Nobody talks about Man city, my club…Okay, ‘the little bird Nza jumped very high from the Iroko tree. He looked around and nobody seemed to notice what he had done and congratulate him. He thumped his chest and acknowledged himself what he had done’. (Chinua Achebe). Us Man City fans are going places….Watch this space…
But a bit sad, my man Tevez is homesick. He misses his daughter and has handed in a transfer request. Having been away from my kids for some years I understand Tevez troubles. Man City problems don’t seem to be easing. Ballotelli, the £24million transfer, wakes up angry and according to one writer, stays like that the whole day. He thinks that once he has the ball nobody should come near him and the referee should be aware of this. His anger saw him being substituted after 60 minutes in which he only touched the ball 22 times. Well, one may argue that the boy has gone through a lot, being rejected by his parents and put under foster care to being racially abused by both his own and Italian national team fans…’there is no black Italian’ etc. Well I hope he will overcome all this and be the start he is born to be.
Adebayor has been frozen and does not even feature in the substitution bench…Man city troubles are many and whether they stand a chance to be counted among the top four this season remains to be seen. Let watch…

@magigi - When did start supporting MoneyShitty? Or you are a supporter for hire?
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Manchester City have made Yaya Toure the highest earning Premier League player in history, according to the News of the World.

The newspaper claims the 27-year-old, who joined City in a £24 million deal from Barcelona last week, signed a five-year-deal worth a staggering £55.6m.

Toure will be picking up a basic wage of £185,000 a week before tax but that figure will increase to £221,000 when the Government's 50% tax bracket comes into force.

On top of his unbelievable basic wage, the Ivory Coast international will also be getting an image rights payment of £1.65m a year plus an additional £823,000 bonus each time City qualify for the Champions League.

Toure will also collect a £412,000 bonus should he win the Champions League with City whilst there are also additional bonuses for winning the Premier League and FA Cup - all tax-free.

The midfielder, who will be playing alongside brother Kolo at Eastlands, made just 13 starts in all competitions for Barcelona last season.

Toure is City's third summer signing so far after David Silva signed from Valencia for £24m and the £11m capture of Hamburg defender Jerome Boateng.

The club are also reportedly still aiming to complete a £25m deal to buy England midfielder James Milner from Aston Villa.
