mwanahisa, but the market isn't rational in the short term, is it? It is an impossibility to 'predict' prices of securities in the short term

By the way having sold off a large chunk of my stake in KPLC pre-split, I would be more than happy if KPLC share price fell to 19. But I am realistic enough to know that's the stuff dreams are made of.

Agreed. There is always an element of risk in any "prediction". That's why we are taking bets on this given that the outcome is not fully certain. I however think "our" side has a greater chance of winning the bet.

If I lose, I will not begrudge YBC his "success" but I am sure I will make back my money by BUYING BIG if KPLC's price hits his prediction.

Excellently put, brother. I think most people took offence with yaser because he came out too strong. He was almost ordering guys to sell their shares. But it's looking like KCB all over again. yaser, can you tell us how you arrived at the figure of 17 as KPLC's value?

Faida issued a Research Report in Sep 2010... And the first table at the beginning of the document has an error/omission... I stopped right there! Bure kabisa!

The 23 bob a share resisting level is working real.
Now the question should be; what happens tommorrow when we start buying the rights???

I know!!! and what price will the rights be at???? this is becoming nerve racking. there is a price i can see tomorrow and just pull the trigger without thinking, due to my expectations.

Whats your rationale? at 21.5, u break even at 22.5. this is 3 bob more than 19.5. so its like buying the rights at 2.5bob, breaking at 22.5 as well. ( coz commission on rights is almost negligible, u break even at roughly 2.1% for selling only)
