Theory has been thrown out of the window this season judging the by look of the table. Remember that prior to the Man U game, Arses have a CL game which they have to win to ensure qualification (without knowing how the other group game pans out) while Man Utd just require a draw against Valencia - that will make the visit to OT a challenge.

They also have a knack for losing at home and Stoke are a team that can prove quite a handful and I'm quite certain Chelsea can beat Arsenal easily at the Emirates. I dare say Arse fans should not be surprised by 3 successive losses in Dec - but then again, football is football.

This weekend I'll hazard a prediction:

Aston Villa 2 - Arsenal 2 (Cesc out)
Man Utd 3 - Blackburn 1
Newcastle 1 - Chelsea 2

I'm seeing Manure losing for the first time this season hii weekend.

Manure 1 - 2 Rovers

7:1 the final score! Berbatov scored 5! smile

And that's what we call Seventh Heaven, reminiscent of the mauling we handed AS Roma in a Champions League 3 years ago.
Congratulations to the 5-star Barber for shaving clean the Rovers.

@Impunity, 29 games and still counting.
and it could be that time that we are starting to hit our strides. Oh my! Oh my!

Tell them my brother. That performance is reminiscent of those performances of Man U of old. As my friend @Mcreggae would say, things are byaaaad for our rivals.

pole impunity, you predicted the match, make sure you have enough shock-absorbers or be it a thick skin to take all the bashing from man-u fans.

Tell them my brother. Man U haters will have a sleepless night tonight.

@TAZ..............Did you watch that ruthless and red hot Man U demolish Blacburn? Surely Blackburn were reduced to smitherens, much to the chargrin of Man U haters.

berbatov becomes the fourth player ever to score 5 goals in a single match in this league. no one has ever done six.

Taz,
Dare write that before the Man-U -Arsenal Game and he might just score six

Quite impressive but on individual performances, my praise goes to Anderson he had a very big impact in the midfield. I'm more excited that Arsenal won away at Villa. Our away form is the best in the league, if only we can improve on our home record.

I think if this guy is well utilized, he would be the fulcrum of united mid, hagreaves kando, but then again am not SAF! Sad!

It does not mean that if SAF knows its not time to loose points they will not loose!!Even Anceloti knew that its not time to loose points when they lost to Sunderland ( or is it icecream )!They are lucky The Gunners also lost. They would have seen the rear lights till May!

@Nobby - What say you now? Still laughing? I knew what I was saying!!! Read my post again!

@willin2learn - Tell him! Berbatov joins a special group of only four players to ever score 5 goals in the EPL!!! Should I dare say that half of the four did it in a Man - U shirt! The other one is Andy Cole who scored 5 in 1995 when Man United demolished Ipswich 9 - 0. By the way @TAZ that is the biggest win ever in the EPL - I know you love statistics and history. Consider that your lesson for the day.

@Impunity - There are two things I hate doing; Quoting myself and telling someone "I told you so!". But there are exceptional situations that call for the two! This is one of them!!! Sina mengi ya kusema. Tafakari niliyo yasema na yaliotendeka jana.

@mwenza...I was busy wiping my tears...and could only manage the post # 520. Very bad spell for us. And come sunday morning both Man-u and Arsenal may very well be ahead of us in the table.

Arsenal are away to Villa. And i would have concured with @smano on a draw (Especially if the young villians turn up and play. we could see end-to-end stuff). But with Arsenal coming from 2 defeats in a week, they should be angry enough to win the game.

Man-u after the long streak of bad performances have the one clear shot to top the table. Blackburn will play typical sam allardyce game...which means hard play, long balls and trying to stop man-u from playing. They almost succeeded against chelsea. Man-u is at home and I concur with @smano...man-u should win.

As for chelsea. I dont think it will be an easy game. I would go for a draw. The make-shift defense may not be able to handle caroll and ameobi

I really hate to say I was bulls-eye right!

Don't worry bro. Listen to Capital Jazz. They are playing African Jazz. The likes of Manu Dibango and Hugh Masekela. Ought to cool you down.
