In the next round, teams from the same federation CANNOT be drawn against each other. IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN

What happened to the myth that Aseno play soccer like Barca? You should also pray for Man Utd to beat Rangers tonight otherwise you also be dreading another encounter with "MESSIah". Arsenal do play like Barca but they don't have players like Messi and Iniesta to score the goals. The end product is Arsenal's main problem..

TAZ wrote:Nostoppingthis.....Kwanza its Man Utd who are in danger of not qualifying, they face Rangers away and valencia at home. @TAZ - What say you now? Who are in danger of not qualifying??? You must beat Partizan Belgrade to guarantee yourself passage to the next round. Here is the table to jog your mind: Shaktar - 12 Arsenal - 9 Braga - 9 Partizan - 0 If Braga beat Shaktar even a draw will not be good enough. Fact 1: "We" expect you to beat Partizan at the Emirates. Fact 2: "We" Expected you to beat Braga yesterday - having beaten them 6 - 0 at the Emirates. Can you see what Fact 2 does to Fact 1? Fact 3: Playing Thursday night football might just be a blessing in disguise. You might finally just win yourself a trophy! Blunder of the year: You now have to play in a must win CL game just five days before meeting Man - U at old Trafford! Fact with fun: A draw today sees Man - U through to the next round! Our final game [against Valencia] can be handled by the likes of Bebe, Obertan, Macheda etc. if SAF decides winning the group is not a matter of life and death. If Man U wins today and Valencia doesn't, Man U automatically wins the group and the last game can as well be handled by academy players!!! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

SAF has spoken out about the fact that if Rangers win today (and Valencia),it would make it difficult for Man Utd going into the last game so apart from resting Vidic and Rio, I hope the rest of the squad will be solid. Winning today means resting as many players as possible for the last group game prior to meeting Arsenal at OT BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Today even notable Arsenal cheer leaders are uncharacteristically quiet. Even the spokesman a.k.a. @TAZ a.k.a. Tactical Loss a.k.a. Dr. Alfred Mutua's brother is using very few words which is so unlike him! Guess what they are waiting for! The Man U - Rangers game. They are hoping they will have some juicy stuff to post tomorrow, nay, make that from a few minutes to midnight tonight! Ole wao! But I'm sure @TAZ will still try to explain why he thinks we should have won by a larger margin... Never count on making a good sale. and there you have it! Rangers 0 - 1 United. Arsenal on the brink of not qualifying for UCL, United on top with 13 points. and to think we have not been playing well...i can only imagine if we did, we would get 21 points from a possible 18 in the group stages!!! I thought yesterday performance was way better than some football we have been playing lately...Giggs was lively, Scholes as usual...Nani was a bit quite, but generally the midfield was okay...I hope they fully wake up... defense, Smalling did well with a few important block's. Evans had one nervy moment but that really was it. what remains now, is the ability to disect defences that park the bus and we are good to go... On another note, I wish Arsenal well, that they qualify, this is good for League, as its a sure way of making sure they don't win anything

@reddevil, yesterday (and during match day one at home)I got an idea of how Barca players, fans, coach and neutrals felt playing against Chelsea last season but one...players packing the bus can be very frustrating. I can't fault Rangers since they were torn to shreds last season leaving the group stage without scoring a goal (even Bursasor scored their first ever European goal last night)when the decided to show some enterprise. That said, I have more respect for Zilina who took the game to Chelsea and got rewarded with a goal even though they lost. I was wary of Evans & Smalling and I thought they looked composed jana, of course it could have been a different matter with a team with better strikers. What's more concerning is the way Berba has been acting on the field - the guy throws tantrums every time he gets a wayward pass, is not given the ball when in a good striking position, when he doesn't hit the target - basically ALL the time! Contrast that with Chicharito who goes about his business with calm and conviction - great professional. He's going to be our next best striker and when they sync with Rooney - I fear Berba's 30M pounds (?) spending and skill will all be for nought. @smano, Totally agree with you Berba's back to his old languid ways...this guy just needs to be whooped in the ass thoroughly then maybe he will wake up, if he does not - I will take 15M for him... Another languid player is Macheda...he is young though, but I see Berbatov in him. For the other strikers you spoke well, But I would like to also single out Wellbeck, he is doing well, did you watch his movement during the Chelsea game I think it was terrific, I think the loan spell is doing him well, If he keeps doing well then, OT will certainly be home to him. The strikers I fear for are, Berba, Diouf, Macheda in that order.... My question is (with Diouf in mind) just why don't players from Africa do well at Manchester United? such a disappointed I must say! NB: PONDI, I see you peeping

As much as Arsenal is not so loved by most, the reality is they'll qualify for the next stage and the stage after that while some will fall after having a great 1st round. 1st round successes create illusions that can lead to false belief overconfidence. I can assure you Tottenham won't go past round 2. As for the premier league there's no clear leader at this time. Too early to call. BBI will solve it :)
