Haha, by upgrade i meant was in relation to phone yenyewe... not firmware.... yaani from 1st Generation Iphone to 3G..... so my query where did you get yours... and can you get another one.... quote a price if Answer is yes.

You can never brick an iphone...the ios is hardwired in the cpu chip...

Easy to recover. Just go to itunes, plug in the phone and let it restore the latest ios, in this case 4.1.

Once done, download limera1n, and enjoy the jailbreak and unlock!!

I have tried to unlock it as you said but the modem firm ware isn’t in the list. Mine is 05.14.02.
What to do?Want to sell it.

If anyone can direct me where I can get it unlocked for a good price I'd really appreciate it.

Unfortunately. i realized u cant unlock modem firm 05.14.02.......i have been going through some tuts on you-tube( i made the mistake to update my i phone with to the latest base band being 05.14.02)... a release is due on the 21 Nov.... i keep you posted..the guys at Redsn0w are working on a Hack....
If i showed you where i live, you would think that i was hiding.

Just upgrade to Ios 4.1 and unlock....isnt that possible? Youre prob on 4.0.2
