According to todays newspaper Zap will be charging 10/= to send money across all networks.

Now this is what I hav been waiting for Lets see how safaricom will respond to this threat.

A Good one.
However the catch is, you have to go to a Zap agent to withdraw.
The cash sent to u does not 'mix' with mpesa.

It has always been 10 bob ever since. Nothing has changed, this is just a popularization advert. By the way, Mpesa users can send money to any number in any network in Kenya.

so dumb. These razor thin margins are the reason Zap's distribution has been, and will always be zero compared to MPESA

...if none of you is an egent then we should not care what happens to the income of the service providers but the cost we incur when we send or receive money..thelower the cost the better..shida yenu ni nini?...remember we are able to make 3bob calls because of the "wars".. I wish the wasrs could be taken to the petroleium industry...we would be paying 60bob per litre of petrol..
