You are right Njunge, Omar should not engage with this fellow.
Maybe he realised that the prosecutors who are well paid and love their job aren't easily swayed with a rallying call to one's "my people".
The fellow is scared and don't be surprised today to hear him talking about RO and Kibs in the attempt to remain relevant. But you can't blame the guy. He had very bad lawyers and psychopaths for advisors. Nothing good comes out of talking to prosecutors whether kenyan, indian or Ocampo. But hubris is a disease and he is seriously affected.
The guys I can't get are journalists who want him to remain relevant. They reported that he went to see Ocampo, I knew it was not true. They reported he didn't speak to the commisions, even my grandmother knows its not true. They reported he got a heros welcome, surely everyone knows those guys were paid 1k each to be there. They are now reporting what Ruto is saying verbatim trying to cast doubt on reports they know about.
Sureligator, you were right. Ruto is not the problem, the problem is a bunch of journalists who give suspected criminals a podium.
If they go on reporting as they are, don't be surprised to see another round of mayhem as they whip up the idea that Ruto is being persecuted by political assassins who died in a fire in a church.
