Local gvt minister says 5 more cities will be coming up as per strategic plan - these are; Othaya, Bungoma, Eldoret, Garissa, and yes Mtwapa !! Good people, these are the places to buy plots for speculation!!

This was in the 9pm news yesterday - can't exactly remember the function that Mudavadi was officiating.

Thank God these guys only have 1 year to not implement such nonsense. Othaya is not a town. it is a place where donkeys, cows, and people meet as they go to their farms. Exactly where will they find a City?

I am 99% certain Kibaki did not ask for Othaya. We have so many leaders from the Moi era who still believe the big man must get a share of everything with a predictable result - sink hundreds of millions then change their minds midstream.
