Can someone please explain to me why the ref in the ulinzi/red berets game blew the final whistle in the 89th minute.

there was hope that victor Amboka would add a second one to increase the chances of Gor taking the trophy. or still Ulinzi to score so that they need a draw next sunday.

Gor Mahia missed so many chances..they need the goal difference!! the last game is going to be tough for either Gor or Ulinzi..
Great turnout at City Stadium

Its very easy to jump into conclusions after watching how the Ulinzi/Red Berets match was officiated. Ulinzi need to make an official complaint to KPL, the Ref was pathetic. Whether you agree or not there's nothing normal about a Ref blowing the Final whistle in the 88th Minute plus additional time to play. The fourth official was even preparing to display the added minutes before the ref blew his whistle.

why are you talking of Ulinzi complaining. red berets also needed the extra minutes to play so as to get as far as possible from the relegation zone. stop being biased.

Ulinzi should complain because such poor officiating might cost them the title. Red Berets were comfortable with the draw and thats why none of their players complained when the ref blew the final whistle......Even the commentators were equally suprised.

Red Berets can complain too but its Ulinzi who have a lot to lose. I'm sorry guys i'm not an Ulinzi fan but that was not Fair play.

Apple Bees & Nostoppingthis......All the KPL clubs have players from Nyanza and thats a fact. The reason why i don't support Gor is simply because they are not the best team in the KPL. I've been watching the league for quite sometime now and Tusker & Mathare Utd have always impressed me with their football. This season Gor have been able to get "Blackberry" who has really good dribbling skills but the rest are average players.

HYPE is the only word i can use in describing Gor Mahia....sometimes i compare them to Liverpool, they have the noisiest fans but when is the last time they won the League?

you can't compare Gor to liverpool. we have 18 titles to our name and it's only Manu who have the hope of beating that. they have very few

One interesting facht: Liverpool have never won the Premier League.

RB had a lot to lose. they were second from bottom and need the win to be safe, with a match to go. had they won, they would be at 30 points making it mathematically possible for them to survive with a possible six position leap likely in their final match. let us learn to look at it from both sides.

Sober....The issue here is not who should complain but rather was the decision made by the Ref in accordance with the Rules of the game?

he didn't say barclays. before it was carling. let us put facts straight and not assume that EPl means barclay which started in 1992.

agreed. the person with the highest level of complaint would have been supersport but because the viewership is not that developed, they never lost much for the omitted minutes.

Do you know what you are talking about? Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly .

It is not the Barlays or the Carling or the whatever we are talking about. The important word here is the Premier League. Do you even know when they started calling it that? For someone who was born watching the English Premier League as opposed to mere mortals like me who started watching it 'two years' ago you sure know your stuff.

FYI and slightly off on a tangent if you were to ask those local supporters of your 'team' they will tell you that it is not the English Premier League but The Premier League.

@Sober what viewership are we talking about here,Number one Red Berets are already relegated to the nationwide because the ref didn't officiate to the level he was supposed to and Ulinzi had their chances but couldn't convert so however as much as the ref made a poor decision.Red Berets are the casualties here plainly.
But that was a nice weekend with all those matches played may the best team win the KPL.

AFC must sit down and strategise the whole of this season one undoing they had was their defense how can they concede 4 goals in almost 7 games in one season.
