Wazua i want to delete my earlier post...LOL...i have now seen the results in PDF and i must say i'm impressed...things can only get better...FYI KQ only lost 20M on the Hedges...gooodos..KQ...

People do'nt about the result. take advantage, book your order & take the benifit. Tomorrow it will go up to 50 -52.

this is noy NYSE. the next trading is on 8th November monday 6.30 GMT

Profit Before Tax 2.051b versus 1.229b = +66.88%
PAT 1.436b versus 0.86b = +66.976%
EPS 3.11 versus 1.86 = +67.204%
Cash Flow Hedges -1.286b
ASK increased 3%
RPK grew by 9.3%

Conclusions

These are Strong 1st Half Results and if the Run Rate can be maintained We are looking at a Forward PE of 43.25 / [3.11 x 2] =6.953376. That looks very inexpensive.

seems the stock isnt excited at all....which brings us to our main question: do earnings really drive up stock prices? or is it sentiments? I think the latter.
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

Why KQ isnt moving ? Its a friday surely.Which foolish investor will buy on a Friday with all the uncertainty that the weekend brings ? I certainly wldnt.Fridays are profit taking days and since KQ is a foreigner heady stock i dint expect any rally.
The results are good so i expect the price to catch up.
Here's a HINT : Go and enjoy your weekend and next week KQ will be on fire.
