Umuofia kwenu!
For those of you who have "bought" plots at the Eastern by pass under, without due dilligence, sana sana wale hawakuenda land board, u need to establish
1. Are your beacons/posts still there?
2. Is there caveat on the Master title?
3. Is there double/triple/quadriple allocation?
4. Has the broker/company director dissapeared?
5. Who is the real owner of the demarcated land?
6. Kama uliuziwa kiwanja ya shule, maji, hospitali pole.

While at it there is a meeting at the APs camp/ Chiefs grounds on 31st October 2010 at 2pm by Kabogo, DCIO, Gaitho, Chief etc. If u are affected come see and hear the full conmanship drama unfold, plot by plot, coin by coin.Very serious rumours have it eti Agha Khan sacco pia wametapeliwa!

@Kwanini What is the reason for checking with the Lands Board, is this a different check than that of checking title at Ministry of Lands?

@All There's a group called Super Micro selling land in that area. Anyone know about it and whether or not it is genuine?

@maina- infact a plot of 50*100 third, second row from by pas was doing 300k before the construction. 1m+ is real today.

@Cher, Yeah, failure to do a search at lands is suicidal. BUT the area falls under Lands control board act which naive customers are ignoring at IMMENSE pain once the con stars sweet talk them. Kama huniamini njoo upate uhondo kamili tarehe 31.

guys its true, much as the value is relatively high,it good to be fair to willing investors, and ensure that you pass some value to them to enjoy when they dispose or invest.... for investors, ALWAYS do a search of plot ownership before you pay a coin. u better spend some coins with a professional lawyer to do the business, than end up loosing your hard earned cash. with Tatu city on site and even other un-named investors in short-term, the value today will definitely double in less than 6months.
....as you sample, pls try nafmuma@yahoo.com.

Always do a search at the ministry. That reminds me, what has Orengo done to reform his dangerously corrupt ministry? Dude is all talk n nil action. For plots 200m fm the bypass, the brokers were quoting 900k. for a 50*100

Guys, we may be ignoring something rather important. If indeed that land falls under the Land Controls Board, there are some rather stringent provisions in ZAP 302 (Land Control) that we may be overlooking (see kenyalaw.org). For example, the Land Control (Minimum Acreage) Regulations, 2005 state that "No land control board shall consent to division or subdivision of any agricultural land into two or more parcels to be held under separate titles if the size of any of the resultant parcels will be less than one hectare."

@Kwanini, is this what you're referring to?
