Wazua is a public forum and any rational investor would have this infor at hand whether it didn't exist.Wazua simply re-affirms what is already in the public by developing objective and subjective explanations. Therefore,to say that wazua has an effect on the market is like going against market efficiency, which would mean a prove that trading Patterns can be attributed to this forum.its quite difficult to differentiate infor specifically from wazua and infor from other sources.

That phenomena is called 'The Njunge Effect'. With time it will make it to the dictionary. What a man, what a legacy, what a show!!!

@youcan't i didnt say that SM stopped it from rising but as soon as he sells a stock it stabilizes implying people are jumping off the boat with him Laughing out loudly

he sold KCB on the exact day it touched 23 for the first time and almost 3 weeks later the stock is still at 23 and if you check back mumias probably did exactly the same for a while after he sold it....

Is there anyone doing an MBA and wondering what research project to undertake? This would be an interesting one...

It's very simple to verify the hypothesis that sentiments made in wazua affect price movements at the NSE.

All you need is track sentiments on a random sample of stocks; search the wazua archives for them; decide whether +ve or -ve; check price movement within 5 trading days after each post.

Very simple indeed, but with very important outcomes for both wazua and NSE
