Liverfool FC has become a farce, the drama continues!!!

The players are generally low in spirit and i expect Everton to prevail even though they have also been having problems of their own this season!!!!

United cannot afford to slip against West Brom. A storm is brewing between SAF and Rooney after the latter claimed that he has been fit to play the whole seasom yet has only been played in half of United's matches thus far!!!

Meanwhile, Rooney seems to have put SAF in a spot after implying that SAF had lied that Rooney has been carrying an injury!

Check this out, from Premierleaguebuzz:

Rooney drops Ferguson in the shit!
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney could be on a collision course with United boss Alex Ferguson, after Rooney dropped his boss right in the shit, according to a report on the Virgin Media sport site.

He contradicted claims from Sir Alex Ferguson by insisting his ankle has been injury-free all season.

The Manchester United striker made the statement in the aftermath of England’s goalless draw with Montenegro at Wembley in the Euro 2012 qualifier. His comments are unlikely to go down well with United boss Ferguson in a troubled season for the 24-year-old which has also seen allegations about the player’s private life.

Rooney also stressed the need to be playing regularly to reach full sharpness after a stop-start beginning to the campaign.

When asked after the Montenegro game if his ankle had caused any problems, Rooney replied: “No, I’ve had no ankle problem all season.”

He repeated his denial when asked the question for a second time. Then when asked “Why did Alex Ferguson say you had?”, Rooney laughed and replied: “I don’t know.”

End of article.

Now unless Rooney is on fire against West brom...his accusations of not getting enough play time and SAF lieing about his ankle injury might spell the beginning of a rough relationship with SAF

But have you noticed that promoted sides tend to fizzle out at some stage in the campaign? I guess it has to something to do with resources (or lack thereof). Injuries, fatigue, loss of form by key players etc affect them more than most. It's probably too early for this so the devils better beware.

...that will make most of non-man-u fans buy beer for everyone at their local pub!

SAF sold Beckham, Ruud, Christiano...if shrek continues with his lack of enthusiasm, might be best for him to be sold. He may want Barca, But barca dont need him (stylewise). Maybe Real. Then he can link up with CR7.

Your Manager covers for you due to your astonishing lack of form and prostitutional dispensation, then you come out and say what the lad has said........You surely belong to a rehab centre. Sad!

My only worry is that due to his current form, we might be forced to sell him at a knock-down price.

@McReggae... @Mwenza could be very right. Also see ealrier post by @Njung'e.

Now Check out excerpts from The Sun...

"WAYNE ROONEY could be dumped from the Manchester United team after challenging Alex Ferguson.

Striker Roo is sweating on his place in tomorrow's side to face West Brom following his public questioning of the boss over why he was left out of the last two Red Devils' games....

The boss might now punish him for his open defiance in the aftermath of the game.Sad

Equally he could decide the player is not in the right state of mind or in good enough form to play against the Baggies.Sad

...United are aiming to get the player tied down to a new five-year contract. But as revealed in SunSport yesterday, United fear Rooney will not sign it with Real Madrid waiting in the wings, ready to pounce."

Been checking out statistics of chelsea v villa. Things look not so good.

Chelsea have only won once at villa park in the last 11 games.

Villa beat chelsea in the same fixture last season.

Chelsea have not lost back to back away games since 2009.

The only fit full back for chelsea has is ivanovic.

This tie will be very tricky.

Much as a player is hell lot talented, the Manager always has the last say. Especially a successful one like SAF.

When a player starts bickering...e.g Tevez, Ronaldo e.t.c my take is always sell, sell, sell!

I would not want Rooney to go but rather put on his shooting/scoring boots...

But if this is the dissident attitude...too bad.

No player has ever been bigger than club, If Becks, Ruud boy, Keano left surely if I were Rooney!!!!!...

Shrek...be very careful pray you are benched against WBA for lack of discipline...Shame on you

The guy has marital problems but he now wants to make it look like the club is at fault.

His lack of form is totally inexplicable. He can't even take a decent shot at goal. Tumeisha!! He badly needs a rest and be allowed to feature only in the Carling Cup in two weeks time.

Another C&P from the great Bryan Robson on Rooney

Man Utd legend Robson warns Rooney not to test Fergie

Manchester United legend Bryan Robson has warned Wayne Rooney not to test Sir Alex Ferguson's temper.

Rooney has courted Fergie's ire after contradicting his manager this week over his fitness.

Robson’s former team-mate Lee Sharpe became a victim of Ferguson’s wrath when he bombed him out of Old Trafford in 1996 after growing tired of his off-field antics.

He warned Rooney: “Everybody should be fearful of Alex Ferguson’s temper if he loses it. It can be very intimidating.”

no player is bigger than the club but then again neither are the managers....SAF should stand by Rooney after all he was his star player last season. Just because he seems to have lost his form doesn't mean he has no place in the team.

One thing I've always admired about Wenger is that he always stands by his players regardless of form or off-pitch behaviors.

And kesho chelsea face Aston villa without Drogba and Lampard...is it just me who is seeing a horrid time at Villapark?

@TAZ....saf=manu. He is not bigger but he is the club. We shall know tomorrow whether he will stand by a man who has publicly questioned his judgement (by not playing him) and called him a liar (indirectly). if Rooney plays kesho then maybe SAF could have forgiven the lad.

Wenger has more of a fatherly approach to his team. SAF is more business like.
