Buyers are still cautious as they wait for the strikers case to be heard and determined from Oct 21st. This might yet give some of us who had not reached our targeted volumes time to get in. I am still hovering with my BUY orders at 45.

If the strike does not take place and the first half results come in as per my projection, 50 will become a floor not a ceiling as it has been for a while.

Haiya! KQ are still running these recruitment ads? It's never a good idea to provoke trade unions. Anyway let me sit back and watch how this suspense thriller drama will end.

I think that KQ Mgt has decided to take the bull by the horns - provoke the disgruntled elements into going on strike, while going through the motions of negotiation. That way they stay on the right side of the law.

Once they strike, anyone deemed expendable will be let go and recruits will be ready to step in.

Keep watching. I have a feeling that this will be the one strike that will finally sort out the labour problems at KQ. I am ready to get a bloody nose on it if it comes to that.

From 'the look of things' the strike shall not take place. Actually all that will happen is that kesi itatupiliwa mbali

My advise: Buy now if you have the cash.

I have a 'gut' feeling 4th of Nov will be a great day!!

This strike will happen and it will happen at the worst time for KQ. For the yet to be recruited flight attendants, the wise ones should not take a job with KQ if not under the union because there will be no one to fight for them and I think they know that. Atwoli will get other unions to support them and guess what, KQ will budge.

I do hope the strike takes place. It will at least show us just what kind of Managers Naikuni and his group are. If they budge without getting most of what they want, it will show us that KQ is not a company worth investing in. It will never make money as long as they continue being held hostage by workers outrageous demands.

The price will come down hard so anyone buying during the strike will be sure to make money. But once an agreement is hammered that favours workers at the expense of shareholders, simply get out of that company. It will never make you the kind of returns that it is capable of.

For the moment "Buyer Beware".

I'm with you on that @mwanahisa.

One thing we're all forgetting is the greatest shortcoming for KQ is service delivery and that includes time management. Let's not kid ourselves, service provision is the business KQ are in, not transport because transport I can get anywhere. So imagine a situation where:

a) you have poor service providers

b) these (a) are disgruntled
