10 out of 14 directors and general managers at Equity are from Central Kenya! Impunity!!!!!
http://www.equitybank.co.ke/about.php?subcat=4
Boss, Equity is NOT a parastatal... they can have 20 out of 14 directors and 200 out of 40 managers as Kikuyus and there would be absolutely nothing wrong with that!

Aaaaa...Has this "wealthy" gentleman just abused somebody's mother? @wazua, I just hope u r enjoying the show by this lakeside gentleman, so just sit tight. I have personally heard the same sentiments from close to 20chaps fm the western part of this great republic....What cultivates such envy n sheer jelousy? I dont hold such coveting feelings on the wealth of my rich kikuyu brothers, infact, I dnt give a damn. Ni mali yao na watoto wao. TAFUTA YAKO u LAZY BONES!! RIEP Bw Muguku, your legacy has truly evoked lots of envy.

@simonkabz, images of the man were in the 9pm News last night. It is really sad to see the word envy in the same post as this man...

Last year, Financial Post asked Nelson Muguku how much he was really worth...
His Reply: “I am worth nothing. I am only a small farmer earning a living from poultry. But what I can tell you is that this type of business takes talent.”

What Muguku owns in shares at EB looks like a small portion of his total worth.I understand the poultry business alone is worth more than 3B.Asked about his 40 plus top grade dairy cows, the man said they do give him a little milk but he uses them more like lawn mowers to keep his 22 acre piece neat and well trimmed for his chickens...lol
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

I am waiting for the family to start dumping the shares on the market... I hope the price crashes... So I can buy more at 'cheap' prices!

The bank is awesome... and that is all I care about...

Africans should stop thinking on the basis of tribe but rather on the basis of trust....

If one hires those he trusts and they all happen to be from the same region then there's nothing wrong with this....
That said we must all be honest that central kenyans do own a huge chunk of kenya and this should gradually change....

How did we jump from 'EB should diversify its management' to 'people are envying EB'?

If EB wants a diversity of Kenyans as customers and shareholders, is it so wrong to expect a diversity in management?
