I absolutely agree with you kirti. Diamond trust is the only share in the AKDN group yet to declare a bonus....

Diamond trust is expanding rapidly, spreading its wings regionally. Apart from that it is well managed and the results are Impressive.Their 5 Year expansion targets are fantastic.

They do, however require more money for expansion. They have already had 2 right Issues first one at 50/- and the next one at 70/-.I doubt they will have a third rights issue. Instead apart from launching a commercial paper it would make more sense to ustilise some of their reservers and declare a BONUS... making our christmas merrier!!!

Diamond trust is indeed a Diamond!!!!!

Bartum's target of 135 is a realistic target.

But Gatheuzi's is not. DTB is not Scan. There are completely different dynamics in the way their shares are priced.

Incidentally, a bonus for DTB is a real possibility - actually almost a certainty with the 2010 results!

Hey, I based my hypothesis on a market fact, not fundamentals. I agree fundamentally the 150 range is perfect, but come to think of it differently, sometimes the market just pulls a suprise.

Meanwhile the rally is still on.

@mwanahisa this stock is worth more than that price on a forward basis...

If it continues with 100% profit growth until year end its P/E will shrink to below 10 and don't forget their many new branches that are bound to boost profits....

Q3 results will justify all the banks prices.... since KCB is moving at the same pace i see know need to chase diamond.... But if you're in neither choose one and buy quick...

And basing on the NMG and Jubilee Interim dividends i also expect bonus shares from them....
