My target was 23, so I would be happy to take profit at that level on my 17 shillings rights. On a fundamental basis if Q3 results come out OK, Kshs 25 should be a breeze based on this momentum.

KCB was the 1st Bank to realease half year results. They did so in a record time. Will they do the same for 3Q?

nse has returned 40% ytd. Kcb did not participate in the rally coz of the rights fears. From its pre-rights of price of sh 20-21 the index bouyancy should carry it at least 30%. We are therefore looking at sh 26-28 on the basis of the market performance only.

That sounds reasonable. Only problem with KCB is the phobia investors have for the stock. That is why most are looking for opportunity to liquidate. A price of 26-28 should be reasobable. Compaired to its peers its should be slightly over 30.

ok, experts kindly enlighten us who are still naive in stock regarding kcb shares! is this just a plan by investors to raise and liquidate the shares or it will raise above 40% mark?

@teletalk if one valued KCB the same way HFCK, co op and equity are valued then it ought to be trading at 45bob but we are giving it a modest 26 because of investors fears....

Hmmm.... But I wonder what would happen if their Q3 results surprise on the upside....
