While am no lesser a patriot than most, I think Kenya will not win on saturday. Reasons:

1) Those two battling egos of so called foreign-based players
2) Ghost is more of a stand-in coach (and reports in the press is that he will be replaced...so why should he really care?). Am not too impressed with his record. I think Kimanzi is way way ahead of him.
3) Uganda league is just started so the players are fresh (i think they started to play in september) our fellows are tired. I stand to be corrected on this one.
4) Uganda is on an international high after beating Angola 3-0. Kenya still smacking for the Guinea-somewhere loss.
5) The average kenyan supporter will not afford the tickets for the game (stands 300=). So the support might be less than what you would expect.
6) And lastly the mother of all reasons is: The game is being played on Uganda's Independence day. So there will be lots of pride for the ugandans at stake. They wont want to spoil this day...at whatever cost.

I hope am wrong.

Football management in Kenya urgently requires shock therapy and Otuoma needs to do something silly that will annoy the gods that be and then we take time out to re-organize ourselves.Let's take cue from the Nigerian government.We are not any special.

@winston, Kimanzi may be good, but is he the same one in Netherlands for a coach's training for kitu like one year? and how long would ghost be stand-in coach? Hopefully they do not look for a foreign coach.

Its about time we silenced these Ugandans once and for all...ati Nairobi is like their home ground!!! I don't think we've ever taken them seriously in terms of football. I'm really excited about tomorrow's match because for once we are going to field all our first team players against them.

Kampala — BUSINESS came to a standstill yesterday morning as buses carrying soccer fans to Nairobi for the Kenya versus Uganda Africa Nations Cup qualifier today streamed through some parts of Kampala.
About 30 buses, a number of mini buses and private vehicles carrying Ugandan fans are expected in the Kenyan capital. Over 4000 Ugandan fans are expected in Nairobi by kick off time today.
