I was first skeptical about this counter because it has a poor dividend yield and dividend pay out....

But i'm seriously starting to consider it... The problem is I'll own too many banks for one portfolio to handle :(

The issues of owning too many banks is scaring me too. I am deeply into KCB, CFC, DTB, Stanbic Ug, CIC ( asister of the banks). I would like to trim to no more than 3

The only bank i am in,after exiting SCBK.Got in at 108 and have seen KCB rise and wondering whether i took the wrong bus.Let us see how far we go on this one.

DTB is good share. They got 652m Share capital. By Dec 2011 they have to increse up to 700m & Dec 2012 up to 1B. They might give a Bonus Share or Right Share. I think they will give Bonus share by next year as same group company NMG, TPS & Jubilee had issued bonus share during this year. Only DTB has not given bonus share.So get ready to get Bonus Share.

Given the multiples at which Scan is trading I will not be crazy or Naïve to say we will test 250 before year end.
