That will be a good move. As a stand alone entity AK does not have the muscles to compete with the likes of safaricom, Orange, Airtel or Yu. I think for them to survive they need to merge with peers (Jamii telkom & KDN) create a supermarket for everything data and defend it with all their mighty. My second option will be to find a suitor with deep pockets. The likes of Airtel or Orange fits perfectly well. To provide the cash since they have the expertise. As a shareholder i will not mind the dilution which may arise from either of the options as long as shareholder value increases.
