Fortunately the recent rights were taken by middle term to longterm investors and this explains the support...wanjiku is still waiting for below 17

only on assumption that factors affecting supply are wholly based on understanding market paradigm..but in this NSE of ours (sic)..bulk of shareholders know nothing of market play and a vast majority selling today aren't interested in price trend but just need the cash for something totally non market related..
case in point...some collegue cashing in 23,000 shares today to pay college fees.. did NOT even stop to ask prospects here.. one in many thousands of cases contributing to market supply of any counter.

Your premise is likely to hold in counters with a leaner defined shareholder profile.. bulk counters such as KCB, Equity, Coop, Safcom, mumias..have their "supply really affected more by non investment factors rather than investment strategy

@obiero why do you say only @pkoli....

@pkoli was entitled to rights meaning he bought the share at cum rights when it was trading at above 21 if he averaged down with the rights he's average buy is about 19.75....

I got in ex rights at 18.10-18.50 so i guess i'm in a better position than he is
