in year 2007,i alerted guys on this forum to invest in Ruaka which is just 15km from nairobi past unep and village mkt. no one listened! plots then were just Ksh 1m. check today's nation pg 10. an acre at Ruaka is going for 18 to 20 million! Ruaka is that rapidly mushrooming town just 1km past runda and unep. a friend i advised bought a plot there for 700k in 2004. today, investors are begging him to sell for 4M!!! i understand the high cost is due to the by-pass and aga khan medical university coming up sooner or later. so if you want to invest in a plot,go 1km past ruaka along limuru rd where prices are still relatively low. in 2 to3 years- mark my words-you will be laughing all the way to the bank! any other hot area to invest and reasons?

the by-pass starts/ends in ruaka only.

'the nothern by-pass is 31km long, starts from ruaka trading center, over passes banana road, thru runda, then closeburn estate, snakes past kahawa west, past kamae and then proceeds to ruiru to join the eastern by-pass.( which links thika rd to mombasa rd near city cabanas.')

So that means it will be possible to drive from mombasa road to nakuru without having to pass thru uhuru highway!

@ Jaribu

Your words are as good as the legal tender,3 years ago ruaka was nothing compared to what it is today....
Picture this in 2004 the only rentals available were going for 4k,currently for new entrants the same rentals no renovation,no modification 12k...

Its just me
whatever choice you make in life make sure that you can live with it.

When you run so fast to get somewhere, you miss the fun of getting there... Life is not a race,so take it slowly....

Are the plots free hold or lease hold?

sorry guys i'm just pointing out what i believe will be hot assets in two to three years. i don't have all the complete facts about lease or freehold or exact prices although pricing depends on a number of factors. the main thrust of my post was this- ruaka will soon be filled up so it's only logical to conclude development will spill outwards, ama? any serious investor who is interested should just fuel up over the weekend and do some basic research. the place is very near and fuel should not be more than 300 bob plus there are some nice nyama choma joints around. i report'''''''you do the main donkey work of researching!

good afternoon.
