I have always given my mechanic a free hand in servicing my car including buying the required parts until he fitted some break pads that started screeching before 5,000 Km.

This Saturday I ventured into Toyota Kenya and bought genuine service parts and had them fitted at a petrol station. The car's performance is exceptional and I am duly converted into using genuine parts for life!

The break pads cost me Ksh 11K. The mechanic had charged me 6K for the ones he had fitted. The difference in performance and peace of mind is worth it though.
