@ Swaka

At least now we agree - there are 1/4 available in SYOKIMAU - for those interested.

Incidentaly if you want land in the city centre, in Karen, etc it is available if the price is within your reach.

For Syokimau, the original land owners who had 5acres each, held the it for periods spanning 10+ years, then they sold to others, who sold to us, and we would like to sell to others, who may in turn - at some point also sell to others.

I guess all the above are speculators!!!!

My take;

People liquidate their assets/investments for various/diverse reasons.

A buyers concern should never be about worrying so much as to the seller's motivation/reason for sale, but finding out if the deal is clean!

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win!

Folks here are out of touch with the ground - Syokimau.
Could we commission one or two of these chaps to drive to Syokimau this week end and gather info on current price trends.

@Kyukamba and @ Famooz may you!!
We await feedback here next week.

Pole kijana I can't do the tour sababu am very very far from that area, am not even in Kenya,hata hiyo Syokimau Ive never seen it. BUT when I feel I have good information of the place thru Wazua+other sources I BUY and latter SELL, thru ma lawyer,I have no intention of living there. Lakini if thoes who know the place well say u r overpriced then I have to gojea kidoogo heat e settlo down then decide accordingly.

Syokimau 1/8th plots ziko between 800k and 1.2M so 1/4 at 3M ni kunyolewa na wembe bila maji!!

I agree,not worth it ...In 2008,1/4 in Syokimau was going for 400K. Last i checked ( this was october last year).the prices had skyrocketed . that place was so dry,hakuna miti huko. ......... but then it depends on what someone is looking for. ......

You must be talking of Katani.... syoki in 2008 you wouldnt have gotten a quarter at that. A wazuan - former SKerian was selling near the parliament houses, which is pretty a distance from Mombasa road, at 1m... and it was still a very good deal then.... and then akachanuka before signing the sale agreement and backtracked...... LOL!
