In the grand scheme of thing i believe we are doing quite well. We have been robbed of most of our history and culture by the missionary and now you want us to lose all that by only speaking english and kiswahili. .... NO,not me. @ jaribu im glad you experienced some hostility against you for something you can do little about. Don't stoop to that level especially calling your mount kenya brothers tribalist. There are millions of them. Do they all think that their tribe is the only one that can lead??? Food for thought. No corruption tags. No connection to kanu. kibaki,ruto,jirongo,uhuru,sally kosgey,kalonzo are all connected to kanu. They are all tainted by the original sin of kanu. ____ Private sector experience should be a pre-requisite. The real world where you earn your money. ____* And she will be forced by circumstances to appoint/hire 'others' (non-Mzungus) since she can't use the excuse that Mzungus are the largest or trodden on or disadvantaged 'tribe' thus 'deserve' more ministers,positions,etc! Thus merit becomes key in these appointments. No need to 'reward' your tribe(wo)men. ____** Plus she will probably have the support of the women (probably 50%+ of voting population) but has to appoint men to the cabinet! ____* BTW,the kikuyus had Wangu Wa Makeri...& I have read she was a tough one! I will keep out of her way lest she uses me as a stool!!! ____** And just watch the aid flowing in... LOL... If she is attractive,then great for PR... Have you seen Queen Rania of Jordan? ____**** One the toughest/best PMs in the UK was Margaret Thatcher. All was not perfect but she was tough & was in charge when UK bashed the Argentinians in Falklands. Another tough one was Indira Gandhi who was assassinated but was considered a real tough lady. Rank: Member Joined: 7/3/2007 Posts: 20		Am of the opinion that there are only two tribes in kenya - the haves,who also double as the leaders and the have nots a.K.A. The foot soldiers. By and large,the oHaves are a close knit tribe that realizes that a dialect is not important unless one is being finished,the have nots on the other hand are deceived that a dialect matters a lot.until the time that the have nots realize that theirs is a disadvantaged foot soldier position,we live in the falsehood that we are forty two tribes as opposed to two that can speak in forty two dialects if the situation calls. Everyone should be heard and respected!

I believe that what most of these guys are saying is that you kinda come off like you are having quite a difficult month from your recent posts and replies since you have diverted from your rather very humorous approaches….. There are a number of things we can do: Intermarriage: Good to hear you did so,I am also in the bracket Education: This is mostly from rural Kenya,the politicians keep them ignorant so that they can be kept on the seat for decades Urbanisation to an extent will eat away tribalism pole pole since you grow up with all other tribes and don’t see the big deal We need more people like Mutahi Ngunyi who can admit the mistakes of their people and offer solutions. Organizations like FBOs,NGOs,Churches e.t.c. should sensitize people against this Leaders should lead by example,probably this is the hardest part since most leaders benefit from this Companies to take seriously managers who employ on this basis I don’t know how much the legal system can do,maybe a lawyer on sk can comment on that Anyway I wish you a much better,happier November,with less hate and bitterness. There is a way you can criticize without sounding bitter and love something enough to change it. At the end of the day we all want a better Kenya just like you do!
