Its a fact that this share is a big headache even to michael j himself becoz it always tends to reflect his company to the public on a negative footing,he has severally come open to say the share price doesnt reflect the performance of the company.if a share creates negativity to your firm then why not just pull out?

4) It is highly unlikely that Safaricom will be delisted considering its 'size' & contribution to the NSE volumes

A share consolidation would be good though to separate the men from the boys.

BBI will solve it

@mlenn if you bother to do research in the companies you invest in, then you will not bother with mr market's opinion. For instance if you bought at 2.80 and you are expecting the 20 mapeni dividend in december, would you really give a hoot ati the share has now fallen to 4.50? Everyone had an equal chance to buy at that price or to sell at 5.80 juzi!

this is the counter with the highest number of share holders who have absolutely no idea what happens in a stock market. that is why its post never make much sense to some people.

The same ones that expect chai na mkate bandika @ the AGM and 1/- or more as dividend. Itoke wapi? So is it the work of biz schools or NSE or CMA to educate investors about investing? If you don't know how to play the market, don't hate the stocks. Just put the money in a bank. At least there it loses value to inflation quietly, but you don't notice it and you sleep soundly smile

Which pun is intended? There is no pun in your statement!
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
